Design Manifesto
My thesis is simple: design for the messy middle.
We have officially entered the EQ (Emotional Intelligence) Era.
The last decade was dominated by the pursuit of UX—optimizing for speed, clicks, and scale. This era served the machine.
This decade we find ourselves in is defined by EQ. We must serve the human spirit—designing for hearts, minds, and meaningful presence.
My work is rooted in what I like to call,
Emotional Architecture:
a practice of mindful, human-centered storytelling.
This is how I partner with founders. I translate their most abstract, complex ideas into compelling, magnetic narratives. It’s how I’ve helped over 30 tech startups secure over $150 million—not by just listing features, but by crafting the human story that moves investors to feel the vision.
It’s also how I helped shape the brand for Cairns, an AI companion for the aging population. The story we told wasn't about technology; it was about independence, dignity, and connection. We designed a brand that feels like a friend, not just a product.
But this isn't just a theory I apply to clients; it's my personal mission.
As the founder of Sanghos, I'm applying this very concept to curating a marketplace of transformative micro-retreats. I’m designing a brand, a platform, and a mental health database focused on fostering authentic community and delivering accessible moments of insight.
This is what it means to design for the EQ Era. It’s building a brand, experience, deck, or website, that feels less like a nightclub and more like a retreat: warm, grounding, and deeply present.
Design is storytelling. It's impactful. It shapes perspectives and crafts point of views. It can be stolen, it can be borrowed. It can cause division and heartache, it can create love and moments of awe.
Design is human.
Together, let's build experiences where EQ is the architect.
