Photography

Photography has been a passion of mine for about 10 years. In recent years, I've taken a hiatus from this form of art, but I still occasionally like to take out my Sony and shoot some cool photos.

The design of Everyday Things

Don Norman

A very dense book about how to make products more accessible to people by making things visible, exploiting natural relationships that couple function and control, and making intelligent use of constraints. These all lead to guiding the user effortlessly to the right action on the right control at the right time.

Creative Confidence

Tom & David Kelley

A very dense book about how to make products more accessible to people by making things visible, exploiting natural relationships that couple function and control, and making intelligent use of constraints. These all lead to guiding the user effortlessly to the right action on the right control at the right time.

Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion

Robert B. Cialdini

A very dense book about how to make products more accessible to people by making things visible, exploiting natural relationships that couple function and control, and making intelligent use of constraints. These all lead to guiding the user effortlessly to the right action on the right control at the right time.

10% Happier

Dan Harris

One of the first books that got me interested in meditation. The author is an ABC news anchor, and after a stint of reporting in Afghanistan he comes back to New York city only to be entangled with PTSD and depression. On live television he suffers a panic attack and this book outlines his discovery of Meditation and how it helped him even being a hard-core sceptic.

Zen Mind,
Beginner's Mind

Shunryu Suzuki

One of the most influential books on Zen in western culture. This book is made up of compilation of talks by the late Shunryu Suzuki.  Another book that has influenced my way of living more mindfully.

The War of Art

Steven Pressfield

Being a creative, this book really spoke to me. In it, Steven Pressfield masterfully highlights the different forms of resistance artists, entrepreneurs, and athletes face while they try to break through creative blocks.

Think & Grow Rich

Napoleon Hill

Desire, faith and persistence have the ability to propel one to great heights if one suppress negative thoughts and focus on long-term goals. The “13 steps” (which allow you to reach your goals)

Essentialism

Greg McKeown

A book which advocates a conscious, deliberate, and informed focus on what is truly essential in our personal and professional lives.
